While the CenterFit was originally designed for operators with larger chests, we found that some other operators (regardless of body type) also preferred it. Both versions offer the same weight transfer, it's really up to you if you find the front strut more comfortable on the right or in the center of your chest when operating. When using the Undersling, the CenterFit does allow a little more space along the right side of your body.

                                 Short vs. Tall

 

Measure from your front hip point to the top middle of your shoulder.

 

  • If the distance is less than 20 inches (50 cm) - order a Short size.

  • If the distance is more than 20 inches (50 cm) - order a Tall size.

 

Your front hip point is the part that feels like the tip of the triangle in your hip on the front side that is right around your belt line. Of course there's overlap between the two sizes, so if you're right at 20" either will work.

Undersling & Riser (Low Mode)

Give yourself the option of any camera height by adding low mode versatility, with the same effortless weight transfer. Height adjustments are quick and the elastomer band helps to dampen the effect of footsteps. The adjustable strap-on capture-release mechanism fits onto any camera's top handle. 

The included Riser adds height and also acts as a quick release, making it much faster to move from low mode to shoulder mode.

CounterForce

While it's always better to have a balanced camera for the best handheld work, sometimes it's just not possible. When that happens, the CounterForce can pick up the slack. The optional CounterForce accessory balances front heavy cameras by utilizing an elastomer band attached to the rear of the camera that quickly connects and disconnects to a tension adjusting cleat at the rear of the belt. It creates a balanced load without adding any weight to the camera.
