The ratchet belt allows for precision adjustment in seconds, making it easier and faster to dial in the perfect, tight fit. Compared to the original belt, it enables a more secure waist grip for improved weight transfer. It also offers greater durability and includes a quick-release mechanism for added safety in emergency situations.

With the optional Undersling attachment, you can use your Ergorig to shoot underslung while still transferring all the weight to your hips, totally bypassing your spine. The Undersling uses a small strap to attach to the top handle of your camera, and you can then use the elastomer band to adjust your shooting height on the fly. If you need a little extra height, throw on the Undersling Riser, which has the built in benefit of acting as a quick release to unhook the camera from the shoulder plate. The band also has some serious elastic properties, so it will take steps out when you're moving, in a way that other systems won't.

  CounterForce

CounterForce1.png

While it's always better to have a balanced camera for the best handheld work, sometimes it's just not possible. When that happens, the CounterForce can pick up the slack. The optional CounterForce accessory balances front heavy cameras by utilizing an elastomer band attached to the rear of the camera that quickly connects and disconnects to a tension adjusting cleat at the rear of the belt. It creates a balanced load without adding any weight to the camera.
